Important POD Information

Be sure you bring a sleeping bag or a cot/rack to sleep on. If you do not have one, inquire with a shipmate.

Petty Officers, I expect you to come prepared to drill. You are responsible for the Battalion. All PO’s must arrive in uniform.

CHECK YOUR I.D. CARDS! If they expire on or before DECEMBER 2009, you will need to bring the renewal fee of $53.00 IN ADDITION to your $25.00 drill fee to this drill.

Do not come to drill if you have been a Sea Cadet for longer than 3 months and have NOT turned in your BMR’s. If you do show up, you must have them in hand.

Bring proper PT Gear. You should all strive to look the same. The best method is for everyone to try to have Navy Blue shorts or sweats and a white T-Shirt or top.

RETURN ANY UNIT ITEMS (RANK, UNIFORMS, FLASHES, ETC) that you are not using.

Electronic items are authorized

REPORT CARDS. Bring the most recent one if you didn’t turn one in last drill.

PERSONAL HYGIENE: I have noticed several Cadets not performing an adequate amount of Personal Hygiene throughout the drill weekend, be sure you come prepared with towel/toiletries, etc.

THIS IS OUR LIBERTY DRILL. Do not forget to bring any items you may have volunteered to bring.

BRING WARM CLOTHING (GLOVES, SCARVES, ETC) as we will be assisting the American Legion this drill with site cleanup outdoors on Saturday.
