May 2007 Memorial Day Event
On Memorial Day our unit participated in the Frisco Memorial Day event of raising the flags with the Mayor and our sponsors, VFW Post 8273. It was a moving event with the main speech from a mother of a Frisco soldier who gave the ultimate sacrafice in Iraq, 2006. We performed color guard duty as well as hoisting of the colors. Miss Texas was in attendance as well as some active duty individuals from the unit of the fallen soldier.
