This is for all League Cadets who do not know how Advancement and Coursework is to be completed. I get many questions on this, so I
will attempt to explain here. If you've been in the Cadets less than 6 months, you should read this.

LEAGUE CADETS

To advance in League Cadets you only need 2 elements. TIG (Time in Grade) and passing of tests.

LEAGUE CADETS DO NOT DO BMR's or any turn in of coursework!

To advance to LC-2, go on the training disk and find the League Cadet Syllabus.

Study the LC-2 portion of the Syllabus until you believe you could pass a 25 question test.

Inform ENS Fevola at drill that you are prepared to test. I will issue the test. If you have the TIG (4 months) for rank, and pass,
you will be promoted on the spot.

As a league cadet, you continue on in this manner up the rank system, only requiring TIG and passing of Tests. League Cadets do
have what is called an Orientation and Advanced Orientation opportunities. These are provided to get the Cadet familiar with what
a boot camp may be like. They are only for one week each year. I strongly recommend each League Cadet attends at least one to get
what the flavor of a Sea Cadet boot camp will be like when they move up.

The rest of the League Cadet advancement information can be found in the resources website that's listed above.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING ANY OF THIS, CALL ME! I want to hear from the Cadet's, not Mom and Dad. This way I know we are
clear.

That is all.
