Galley News
We ask that 2 parent volunteers each drill weekend to help run the galley.
Each family should try to provide an adult (at
least 18) for at least one month in the year to work galley. So, if you
personally can not do this---you can send me your Aunt Freda, Cousin Bubba or
Neighbor Bill for all I care.
This is first come first serve as far as slots go. You may work more than one
month if you chose to. Some
parents may ask "why would I do that?" ...however, as some parents will tell
you, it is very rewarding to spend the weekend at drill...to see what really
happens and to watch the cadets interact during their liberty, etc.
I thank all of you in advance for your cooperation as we work to support Halsey
Battalion during their time of growth and change!!
